All it takes is a different e-mail address and a new name.
Benobs, so it was not your intention to have three accounts running at the same time.
Corby, I fail to see what the advantage is of having more than one account.
not particularly. When I got the 3rd one, I never got rid of bednobs because I knew I would go back to it when the crisis had passed, and I could once again bear people being nice to me
Ahem ... which one is Wardy?
Have another nap, dear.
One has three accounts in order to argue with oneself of course.
(The third is probably just for discussing embarrassing stuff that the other two can be disassociated from.)
^^ OMG hahahaha. Love that OG!
DANNY, it could be you wanted to post something contentious, post under a less/more serious persona, ask an embarrassing question, ask a question relating to your employer, post something to support another post under your usual name, in case of problems logging in under the usual name or because you're banned.
Thanks Corby.

I'd hazard a guess it is Mallyh.
Some have a valid reason for doing so, others don't.

you could have a massive row with yourself and get banned twice

Someone is so rattled they have spent their valuable time digging...lol lol.

mally, it is possible to post simultaneously using more than one account. (By that I mean post at the exact same time)

I know, I've done it.
Yes, it is.

I know of a couple current users who are doing just that.
As Roy says, if you sign-on using 2 different browsers, you can toggle between the 2 and have conversations with yourself.....or back each other up, at the very least.
One is often more of a sacrificial lamb and will be more forthright/combative......but if that results in a suspension there is always the second name upon which to fall back.
yes it was almost mandatory when the "new answerbank came in a few years ago if you wanted to continue any kind of debate

Am I Right ?
I'm Not Wrong !
Rather daring of you, Johnny.
