Hi, silly hubby made a mistake and put around 25 litres of petrol in his diesel car. He thinks he had around 5 litres diesel in tank, so all got emptied and now sitting in the shed. 30 litres more or less the lot. Did some research and I think I can use it in my honda jazz (2011).
Just would like to be sure, wouldn't want to ruin my cars engine. Thanks in advance.

I would get rid of it too - too much of a risky in doing damage to your own engine. Put it down to bad luck.
mk...I think you'll soon tire of adding a small amount of the reclaimed stuff at each fill-up. Have you ever tried putting petrol into a tank from a container? Some in the tank, some down the paintwork and most on the floor in my (limited) experience!
'getting rid' isn't easy!

It's not going to be easy but its a lot to get rid of and as it was his fault it will be his duty :)
