Sharon - // Andy, sorry if I lack the abilities according to you, to recognise irony and ridicule.
I am just trying to find out what folks think. //

That's the idea of the site - but you are unlikely to get sensible answers if you frame your question in such a crass and insulting form.
Sharon - as always with long threads, things take different turns and different opinions are expressed, which is what I did at 12:51. I really don't appreciate being pulled up for it!

Margie, I know and I think now, enough said.
Perhaps this puts it better than my car crash example ... although car crash is quite a good description of this thread.

A video of someone who didn't get that all houses matter ? Wow she must be thick. Not that I can believe she'd be protesting that her house matters were her house not on fire. Which the implied comparison is effectively suggesting. Probably wouldn't be demonstrating if it were on fire either, for that matter. They'd be calling the emergency services.
As the fire represents the systemic problems faced by black people, what are the emergency services that should be called?
Whichever the operator suggests.

No, the fire can't symbolise anything related to the situation, since fires can start in any house no matter what colour it's painted. A better representation would be if the claim was that, that house mattered because it was painted black. Thus implying that if it was painted green, or some other colour it wouldn't matter. To pretend the fire is the comparative aspect is deliberate blatant misrepresentation in the hope of fooling the gullible.
What operator?
How do you call the emergency services ?
What emergency services? There is no mention of emergency services in the video. You introduced them.

If you don't get the analogy, just say so and I'll be happy to explain it. However, I suspect you do get it and deny its premise.
That video is a load of old pony, Ellipsis.
