I think the weekend ones have been dropped.
The Government's no longer hosting Covid-19 updates on weekends. I wouldn't be surprised if in the next couple of weeks they reduce weekday conferences as well.
They run out of convincing lies. :0)
What’s the point. The government have capitulated to the mob and any due diligence shown by decent people who have concern for their fellow man has become a futile exercise to protect NHS staff and prevent a second wave. If London gets a second wave shortly you can ask BLM why your life doesn’t matter.
It might also be relevant that, even before the protests were thought of, the Government decided to ease restrictions by allowing travel nationwide, allowing people to meet in groups of up to six, re-opened several places of work, etc etc.

I'm sure the protests will sadly have an impact on Coronavirus spread but I'm also sure that if there is a second wave it won't have been the only driving factor.

I hadn't see anything that said they would be stopped.

I truly don't know what to think anymore.
Having been in isolation since March 10th..at the start through fear for our age and husbands respiratory health problems..

I'm begging to think we will never get to hold our little grandchildren again..nothing could prepare us or anyone for this length of time.

After yesterdays protests it sure ain't gonna get better any time soon..

Thanks for the replies..

It was in the news after last weekend, but easy to overlook. I'm really sorry to hear about your situation.
‘ After yesterdays protests it sure ain't gonna get better any time soon.. ’

You don’t know that.
I thought they were anxious get it down to weekly
but as other threads have suggested including my own on Archie and his first words

the protests may have kicked off a second wave
and as ever - - we have to wait and see
Thisoldbird, right at the beginning we were told 12 weeks.

you dont know that

yes I know that - as sure as night follows day (*) we sure as hell know that association isnt the treatment for a contagious disease

Yes we were told 12 weeks but had already done 2..14 total come next week. Since then a couple more have been added to end of June.

I mustn't complain, plenty worse off than us. We have had weekly priority Tesco deliveries..we also had the food boxes but cancelled those as not really needed..plus the quality of fresh bits was questionable.
(*) polonius advice to Hamlet in the play of that name
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!”

just an ole man trying to *** up the same old threads wuvva bi a culcha
jazz is not a naughty word is it?
It can be if you misspell it.
I am actually enjoying the weekend break.
