Thunder, Lightning and hail bouncing off the lawn here. The grass looks as if it's covered in snow and it's freezing cold. I've just put the heating on.

Weather, we don't have a climate really do we?
Beautiful day here Margo, sunshine and blue skies if a tad windy. Washing all dry yippee.

Where are you Maggie? (Scotland?) I'm in Bedfordshire. Looking out of the window you'd think it was min winter.
The ground needs a good soaking
It has stopped raining here (Anglesey) and the sun has
come out.
You live in Anglesey? You lucky so and so.
It's always rained in a summer.
I live on the east coast of Scotland and, after two really cold days, it's gorgeous today.

I thought you were Maggie. Rain would have been welcome but I'm not too sure if my tender plants are going to survive this downpour of hail.
And it's not even officially summer time.
I've got my heating on too. Very chilly. We had rain, not very heavy but nonetheless most gardens got drenched. Sun fighting to make an appearance from behind the grey clouds.
We had a hail storm a little while ago, in Milton Keynes. The wind seems to have eased off now.
My heating came on by itself this morning. Must've been below 20degs to do that.
Nasty down here, a sharp wind, the temp only 12°C before windchill - feels ike 8°C...I'm going to light a fire shortly.....raining as well to add meterological insult.
Just had a very heavy shower down here in South London.
I remember quite a few summers where we had snowbound cricket pitches

//And it's not even officially summer time. //

Metrological summer started on June 1st

We should have been on Ile de Re right now, having probably arrived about three hours ago, all the family.
Instead, we’ve just had a hilarious family zoom.
Could be worse, at least only five of us are suspected to have had COVID and all now recovered, finally.
Summer can do what it likes...rain, hail, snow...at least my family are healthy.
