My lot generally step over my keyboard, Barmaid, but Chequers sometimes likes to sit on my desk to be stroked. It doesn't matter how far back I push the keyboard, he always sticks his backside on the space bar!

I agree about cats constantly being different sizes, Alba. Trying to find the right size bed for a cat is impossible. If you buy a small one (to match their size when they're curled up into a ball), they end up sprawled out largely outside of it. If you buy a large one they curl up in a ball in just one corner of it ;-)
