At last...the racing starts back up in the UK. I have done a little punt on the 4 handicap races and entered the ITV7 which is the first 7 of the 10 races. Also done 7 & 6 timers small stakes on the 7. Have put Mutasaamy in my ITV7 but have had a little E/W punt on Motawaafeq at 12/1. Also taken a leap of faith on my pick in the 3.20 handicap because although the trainer talks it down, the owner loves a punt himself and the horse is reportedly very fit. Good luck if you spoil yourselves and have a little go. Off for a quick stroll on the prom before the handicaps start.

Brian The Snail 3.20 @11/2
Oakenshield 3.55 @6/1
Indian Sounds 4.30 @7/1
Good Tidings 5.05 @4/1

£1.00 e/w acca 30p Doubles and trebles.

ITV7 the the first 3 of that list with Stone Mason 1.00, Mutasaamy 1.35, Freedom Flyer 2.10, Continental 2.45.

Will be having a look shortly Ken. Took my motor in for MOT this morning and am just about to go and pick it up and have a little walk on the prom. cATCH UP WITH YOU LATER.
Sticking to this thread, Togo, 'cos I still cannot access the 'other sports' sub-section. After yesterday's good fortune, I've decided to have 'a day at the races', today, insomuch as i'll be punting on most of the races at Newcastle, and a few at Kempton. So the bet i'm putting up here isn't necessarily my 'main' bet, just the first:-)

12.45 N; Breanski @ 8/1 - £2 win
1.20 N; Raydiance @ 14/1 - £1 e.w. (original pick n/r)
1.35 K; Olympic Conqueror @ 11/2 - £2 win
2.30 N; Cosmic Law @ 13/2 - £2 win

20p L15, £1 e.w. acca. 4 placed = £71, 4 winners = £8,692.

£1 e.w. on Bravo Faisal @ 16/1 in the 1.55 New
£1 e.w. on Helvetian @ 20/1 in the 2.10 Kem

New PP; 6-7-6-5-10-4 Kem PP; 8-8-5-4-3-2

Will be doing something with all 4 of Fahey's newcomers (poss L15) later.

Good luck

Had a little punt after my busy morning and walk on the sands.

Malika I Jahan 5.05Kem. @7/1
Gabrial The One 5.25New. @15/2
Shymay 5.40Kem. @4/1
Moll Davis 6.00New @9/2

£1.00 e/w acca 30p doubles and trebles.
Also done the 2 Koukash/Fahey runners in the 2.30 at Newcastle with the 5.25 runner in 2 X 50p e/w doubles.
Were you not tempted to have a punt on Lockdown in the 3.05 New, Togo? Must admit, I almost did, but the thought better of it. Probably beat mine in a photo, now :-//
Just the one UK winner so far (a couple in France), so I've thrown 4 together for another L15 in the last 4 races of the day; Malika I Jahan, Ajman Prince, Rocketeer and Sucellus. Also a rev f/c International Dream and Dandala in next.
And of course i meant Imperial Butterfly :-/

Don't know whether you were watching the 4.50 @Newcastle....but did yoa see that Mamba Wamba finish? Blistering turn of foot after a bit of a green start. Put that in my one to watch stable with Sporting Life. They email me when anything I have flagged is running. Won't be getting 33/1 on it in future mind.
Togo, I purposely looked for one of Barry McHugh's rides for an e.w. bet, today. Settled on the wrong one, didn't I? None of Fahey's string have done much today - Imperial Butterfly totally fluffed the start, which is a tad unusual for one from the stable.
Pleased to see Sammy Jo again. Didn't know she was assistant trainer to Phil Makin. Sat and chatted with her for over half an hour at Thirsk, once, just a few months before her accident. Really nice lass, and not a bad rider.

I got my place Ken with Gab. The Wire and 50p e/w @50/1. Just need The other Gabrial in a place at least now for a place double.
My fingers are crossed for you, T :-)
Bit of a BOOM there for you, Togo. Well done with sticking with the Doc's geegees :-)))
Question Author
I knew it Ken. Had the win as well. A pair of rascals they are. Returned me £19.25 for a 50p e/w double....Had my stake back for Growl being withdrawn. Just hope that one of my last 2 runners can link up again like yesterday. Easy innit? (^_*)
Question Author
Didn't get the double but never mind. Still doubled my stake again. Bit of action on the turf tomorrow and a couple of nice handicaps. Will perhaps have a look at that. Ken if you want to be able to open the sub cats install Edge Beta. Great browser and you can take everything from Edge or any other browser with you, including bookmarks/favourites.
