There's a girl on the team called Clohe. Have never seen it spelt that way, isn't it usually Chloe?

Though I suppose it looks better phonetically

Yes that's her!
Are they showing re-runs or is she having a second go?
Question Author
Must be a re-run as the other contestants are the same as in your clip
Did you see it yesterday elliemay? A girl managed to get one question right, and that was a guess. Then she went for the minus £1000.I think people like that have got a cheek as if she had got through to the final round she probably wouldn't be much use to the others, but if they had won, she would have got a share. Fortunately, she didn't manage to beat the chaser so she went out thank goodness.

Yes, I saw that Barsel, she didn't seem to care. I thought in the last second that they were going to lose by one!
Oprah Winfrey’s name was meant to Orpah, but the registrar got it wrong. Didn’t do her any harm. :)
I remember a contestant on the Weakest Link who was named after Liesl in the Sound of Music but spelt it ‘Leisl’.
Names can be spelled any which way you want, especially these days.
Niamh, Neve, Neave, Neeve being just one example.
I heard of a girl called Christiane who spells it Xtiane
I am a Jacqueline but went to school with a girl called Jackalyn which actually makes more sense of the shortened version which we both spelled with a 'y'. Can never understand where the 'ie' comes from although I suppose they are both in my name.
In the USA the name 'Clohe' has only been used to name a baby with a frequency of 2 per million in recent years. However it used to be more common, with a frequency of 17 per million back in 1997. (Perhaps there was a minor celebrity with that spelling of the name around then?):

There's a British athlete with the surname Mitchell-Blake, whose first name is not Nathaniel, but NETHANEEL. Horrible, really horrible!
