Did anyone watch this programme on Yesterday channel? And were you mystified as to why the announcer kept referring to money during Henry VIII time in dollars? Does anyone know why?

probably made for the US originally.
They do this on Wheeler dealers too.

Very annoying though. The announcer was British. Can you imagine the Americans referring in a US history programme to money in pounds - even if it was being sold to the UK market.
The programme was made PBS - the American owned Public Broadcasting Service - for the American market.

Wheeler Dealers is now based in the US and made by Discovery but at least Mike does convert to £ when he remembers to.
