On this day in 1934 the gangsters known as the Barrow-Parker gang were finally eliminated.History portrays them as some kind of American Robin Hoods. They were a bunch of murderous scumbags.Any views, anybody?

Basically youngsters at the time of their deaths. At the time in the US,states south of the Mason-Dixon line life was cheap.Even worse for the non-whites.Before,during and after the great depression.
I don't think history does portray them as American Robin Hoods, I think one film did...maybe there was a book too, not sure....but films, even books "based on" are not history. they are entertainment.

A rubbishy pop song, shoota.I prefer Bonnie Parkers poem, very, very poignant and haunting-"Some day they will go down together, and they will bury them side by side....To a few it will be grief,to the law a relief, but its death for Bonnie and Clyde".
