The main aim of the union official on
last night's programme was to bring down
the government shades of Scargill . When will he and
his party realise ,that they were trounced
in the general election, I dread to imagine what
Corbyn of Dianne Abbott wouid be up to npw.

Didn't see it. But being a strong believer in trade unions, I would urge people to go back to work - now!
I never did believe in withdrawing labour. That's the last thing a union should do. So, back to work folks! The lockdown is merely a conspiracy by the govt to turn everyone into subservient serfs. Stay safe.
So they should be subservient to the union instead?
They should only urge members back to work if they are satisfied it's safe to do so (both in work and having regard to travelling to work). But of course if they share the view that there are no risks as it's just a government conspiracy then they should indeed urge them back.
It's not difficult to anticipate what's coming on Question Time. I've stopped watching it.
>The lockdown is merely a conspiracy by the govt to turn everyone into subservient serfs.
Is that consistent with your "So, back to work folks!" which is also what the government is suggesting? So aren't you now advising the serfs to be subservient by doing what the government wants

You have a different opinion to union bosses then.
Would you ignore them and carry out a sort of un-strike?
I have been a Union member for almost all my working life, and thanks to their support, I kept my job when unreasonable behaviour from a couple of managers would have meant me losing it unfairly.

Of course there are extremists, but there are in every walk of life, that's simply a fact.

But you can't tar everyone with the same brush, that is unreasonable.

The essential requirement of Unions in the modern workplace is to ensure that workers are treated properly and kept safe - that has never changed.
I'm loving it! :o)
It's a little sad that someone would take pleasure from repeatedly posting nonsense to wind people up and then mock them for their gullibility
