Do you believe in good and bad luck?
Rabbits foot, lucky charm, lucky number etc?
Don't walk under a ladder, let a black cat cross your path, remember Apollo 13?

Or anything else?

Yeah, if I didn't have bad luck I'd have no luck at all.

Only if I find 1p or am let off paying extra pence in petrol stn - thats my luck that I use to buy a lottery tkt & always win extra.
Lucky's a difficult one...superstition is an easier one to answer. I'm not one bit superstitious. It's like religion....man made and silly and I have little time for superstitious folk.
However I won't allow peacock feathers into the house in any form. Killing a spider isn't allowed and neither is putting shoes on the table. New or old...it doesn't matter...don't do it.
Dave knows better than to do any laundry in this house on January 1st....not that he's keen on doing the laundry on all the other days...just the one day to tease me. Now he is lucky in having me to protect him from the dangers of January 1st laundering.
We are fortunate in having just the one fairy tree on our land and the chaps who work in our field for us know the dangers of damaging it in any way. Too many fairy trees would block our wonderful views but just the one can be left in peace so we come to no harm.....x
Shoes and table I’ve heard of Gness, killing spiders too
But laundry on Jan 1st ?? Never heard of that one :0)
If you wash clothes on New Year's Day, Bobbi you will be washing someone from your house away during the year. As Dave and I are the only two in the house I have to prevent him making a mad dash for the washing machine with an armful of clothes at dawn on Jan 1st..... ;-)
Haha, you’re a tonic Mrs Gness, sure you are :0)))

I say I am not superstitious. However, shoes on a table are a no go and umbrellas are not opened indoors. I didn't know about spiders, but I would never kill one intentionally. No doubt I've probably killed a lot underfoot.

And yes, you make your own luck.
I usually pick them up ( depending how big they are) and let them go free in the garden
Something for Lucky up there at Best Answer. :-)

We live in a very old house, full of spiders! I tolerate them, but the very big ones have to be put outside, but not by me!
I am superstitious about some things - green cars, peacock feathers indoors, greeting magpies, letting knives cross, crlssing on the stairs and seeing a new moon through glass.
Superficially I always say I'm never lucky in that I never win raffles or big premium bonds or the lottery, however when I consider the gifts I was born with and the life I've had I'm way luckier than many many people.
I think I'm a reasonably lucky Man, whatever I enjoy life.
