Invisible Router.....

Last night my Talk Talk router was visible to my TV (via Ethernet cable) and my smartphone, 2 laptops, Amazon tablet and PC...all via Wifi.
This morning, the TV and Amazon tablet are the only things registering the existence of the router. I have to-to-d the router umpteen times, ditto the PC and laptops.
I am at my wits end.
Why is this Amazon tablet cheerfully cooperating with the router when everything else seems to be under the impression that we don't have one in the house?
Any help most gratefully received.

Get shut of Talk Talk (remember that has to be gratefully received)

Not so. It wasn't any blooming help at all.....:o(
to-to-d ? I don't understand that.

Have you tried moving your laptop closer to the router, just in case it's a range problem?
Are you using any other devices in the house that could be causing interference?

All devices are within 6 feet of router.....and were last night, too, when everything worked. Turned off-turned on.
I'd be tempted to contact TalkTalk; I've always had very good service from them, despite what some people say. If you tell them the wi-fi part of your router has packed up they'll probably send you a replacement. I must say, though, I'm puzzled as to why the tablet works when all your other wi-fi connected devices don't - I think I'd keep quiet abput that and tell them nothing works via wi-fi.
Hmmm...is it just possible that the internet was down or interrupted last night at some stage? There were a few heavy electrical storms about. It may be all about the settings on the devises. You may have the tv and tablet set up to connect with the WPS facility and all the other devices requiring a manual re-connection.
same thing happened to me once. My colleague at work told me that routers only have a certain anmount of things they can connect to before (he said in the order of 25) before they start going wrong. it's very easy to get up to 25 things, Phones, laptops, kindles, phones, smart tv, smart plugs, voice assistance, fridges, kettles, visitors and so on. I'm with virgin and called them with the intention of asking for a new router, but they told me there was a problem in my area with the signal they were working on. When the signal was fixed, the router could see everything. It led me to believe what the bloke said was botox. I think I put a q about it on here
