Hangover From Hell This Morning

I organised a VE Day S.D.P ( Social Distancing Party ) in my Street yesterday afternoon, the sun was out and we had red white and blue flags and balloons festooning the whole street, I did the music starting with our National Anthem then Churchill’s finest hour speech, all done via a Fender speaker, and then it happened my neighbour Dianne ‘plied’ me with massive vodka and cokes,I know, I know,I wasn’t forced to drink them haha
But it was the mood of the day, happiness showing in everyone’s faces during these very strange times

I've always been fortunate that drinking makes me thirsty so I go to bed with a 1 litre bottle of water and it gets refilled, 2 litres of water and no hangover!

TTT, if I went bed with 2 litres of water, I'd have so many trips to the bathroom I'd probably walk off the hangover.

No one plies me either -I don't take any persuading whatsoever!
It was lovely to see all the street parties yesterday on the TV. I wonder if everyone will keep up the friendliness when the lock down is lifted. It would be nice to think so.

the thing is though, when you drink you get dehydrated so the first litre is just replacing what's missing.

Couldn’t drink vodka neat, yuk , I’m feeling better than I did at 8 this morning after a couple of cups of back decaf :)
The grass is the councils by the way and they aren’t cutting just now :0/
