Surely not?

https://www.politicshome.com/news/article/labour-mp-who-returned-to-work-at-care-home-during-coronavirus-pandemic-sacked-for-speaking-out-on-ppe-shortages

As you can see from the blurb in the link, she was allegedly (that word not used) sacked, but the care home's response seems closer to the truth in my opinion.

If their statement is truthful, should Keir Starmer also be supporting the care-home and its residents (amongst all others) against scare-mongering instead of jumping on the band-wagon of blindly supporting a fellow labourite before checking facts?

she was speaking about two weeks ago. The hospital seems to have been responding today. Perhaps they need to deny that there was any shortage on April 24?
They have said that they have had no deaths from covid.
If I were cynical I'd suspect she went there with the intention of causing as much trouble as possible for political reasons rather than a genuine desire to help, and I am cynical, so I do suspect it.

standard nasty lefty more interested in scoring points than anything else. Of course there is a shortage of PPE the whole kin world wants it!
What was she doing working in a care home for in the first place. She is an MP and as far as I’m aware they are still getting paid to work from home.
Never heard anything of her before this morning when I caught a few minutes of an interview with her about this subject, and it became very clear very quickly that she’s a moron.

I have no idea which constituency she represents, but I pity the constituents.
She seems to be the kind of lefty Rodney is trying to shut up, but its going to be an uphill struggle for him.

And since when has the Government been responsible for ordering equipment for Private Companies or indeed procurement for the NHS?
Well, blow me, I agree with Tomus.
