Welcome to Title Builder Beta.

This small piece of kit is designed to make building your Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle question more effective. It should make finding your question easier for others and, the easier it is to find, the more likely someone is to answer it!

To build an easy to find question title simply select the paper and quiz, enter the quiz number if relevant and fill in the Publication Date. Once you’re happy click “Build Title” and the information should populate the Title field. Fill in the final required details of your question as you normally would, and click submit.

As this is a Beta we only have a limited number of papers and quizzes listed. If you think your favourite Quiz, Crossword or Puzzle should be listed here don’t hesitate to contact us.

Remember: You do not have to use the title builder - simply enter the title and question as you normally would and click submit!

Times Puzzle Club

Hi everyone.
I frequently access the Times Crossword Club on my iPad but it does not work efficiently.
I can’t print the Monthly special without the footer obscuring most of clues. Trying to enter Mephisto and Cryptics is a nightmare. I can’t read messages on message board.
Does anybody else have similar problems?

Hi Geoff - sorry, I can't really answer your query as I've no iPad, but I think that somewhere in your print settings you should be able to turn off "Headers/Footers".

For now, if it's of any use, I've put a PDF of the puzzle here -

Open the link, click "Download" (top-right), open that & print from there. You might need to adjust your printer settings - eg, mine says "Fit to printable area".

It’s not just a problem when printing. I can’t fill in Mephisto or Cryptic on line because footer obscures page. I can’t read the Weekly Winners page, in the vain hope of some victory, because the footer always covers the bottom half.

As I said, I've no experience at all with an iPad - is there something in its settings that would clear the footer from the screen? Perhaps ask that in a new thread over in "Technology" - I believe we have quite a few iPad users.
