My Son is wanting a gaming PC for his Birthday. He'll be turning 12 and enjoys playing fortnite. Hes currently got an xbox one. Could anyone recommend a good reliable gaming PC for him. Basically something that's not too expensive but reliable for playing fortnite.

Why doesn't he play it on his XBox?
This is refurbished but from a supplier that I have total faith in. (Their products and service are second to none). It will run Fortnite without any problems:

PS: Remember that you'll need a decent monitor to play video games on though. They can add quite a bit to the cost of a PC.

Alternatively, consider this laptop. Once again, it's refurbished but it's only a few years old and, when new, wouldn't have left you with much change from three grand!

(Two AB members have already purchased that model upon my recommendation and they've both been extremely satisfied with their purchases. I'm getting seriously tempted myself!)
Play it on his XBox 1 as barry says.

He currently plays fortnite on his xbox but he's wanting to change over to PC. Sorry for not making that clear
What is your budget? What other games does he enjoy?
If it's only Fortnite then he can probably get away with the graphics card listed in Buen's (first) link, but in general you should look out for graphics cards that are more modern in case your son wants to branch out. So I'd recommend looking for any of the following NVidia Graphics Cards in your purchase:

GTX 1060/1070/1080
GTX 1650/1660 (Ti)
RTX 2060

As the numbers get bigger they tend to get more powerful and more expensive. Anything better than this is probably too pricy, though.
