I have just finished laying my patio and noticed quite a few cement stains on the block pave driveway. Does anyone know of a way to remove the stains? Alas the pressure washer did'nt work.

I have just asked my boyfriend, as he has a specialist company in this area.

The pressure washer will work, but you need to get hold of hydrochloric acid. The hydrochloric acid should be very watered down, sprayed onto the stains, left for a few minutes and then re-jet washed. Hydrochloric acid is quite hard to get hold of. I would suggest trying your local Karcher/Jet wash dealer. If they dont have the acid, they should be able to recommend something similar.

Hope this helps.
try a concrete company,or the odd diy centre, ask for brick acid.
Dont forget to put some kiln dried sand down after you finish or you may get weeds coming thru the bricks.

Thanks for your suggestions. I did'nt think there was any method of cleaning them and thought the blocks would have to be replaced.
