With a 3/4 tank of petrol in a car potentially inactive for a few more months, what precautions can I take to reduce possible fuel degredation ?
I have access to the vehicle on my drive but am a ' vulnerable person' under Govt. instructions to self isolate and stay in doors. I also have a supply of Redex, which I feel like drinking at the moment !
Stay safe, friends.

Cheers. D.

Mo expert, but a few months. I'd not be fussed. I've had a car in the garage for about a year, some years back. Started first time when tried.
No
As OG - I wouldn't worry about it.

Thanks to you both.

You might want to keep the battery charged - letting it go flat can have irritating consequences (apart from not starting when you do eventually need it) - I charge our Honda Civic once a fortnight and will also start the engine for a few minutes next week, if we haven't needed it for an outing by then.

Thanks Dave,
I've just bought a solar battery charger which seems to be doing the job.
