How can I save a short video forwarded to me on Facebook messenger? Or has it to be saved from the original?

Whilst the video is playing there should be three horizontal dots in the top right hand corner. Tap/click on these and the option to save should come up.

That does not show up on forwarded video it does on the original tho.
