Great news. Wonder how Dyson are getting on with their ventilators.
And well done to the consortium of UK industrial, technology and engineering businesses who have come together to produce medical ventilators for the NHS.
The "VentilatorChallengeUK" consortium includes Airbus, BAE Systems, Ford, Rolls-Royce and Siemens.
Well done them, and everyone else who are helping.
as you say well done to all who contribute in this way..
Yes good work on getting one so quickly hopefully it will help save many lives. It did look like on the demonstration that the blokes putting it on didn't know what they were doing though. I have a Apap machine which is very similar and it looked as though the harness was on inside out as the straps to adjust it were on the inside instead of the outside.
Brilliant efforts being made, a big well done to all.
Huge round of applause to all involved.
Great news!
Very good news indeed - well done all concerned! Mr. J2 is a bit of a car nut and years ago he replied to my mutterings about all that wasted petrol, by saying that the technological developments made by the firms had contributed massively to general engine economy. Squashed, I retreated to the garden, accepting that he was right. The engineer have really vindicated his comments. :)

I had an e-mail from The Royal Mint telling me it is manufacturing plastic visors but they're on the lookout for supplies of the plastic they need.

It is genuine and they are "appealing for manufacturers across the UK to help source 1.0mm PET clear plastic which is currently in low supply.
