Yes, was great - there's a few thread on the topic.
Yes, it was moving.

oh - ok will look for it
Believe it or not, no one clapped in my street. Felt ashamed and a bit of a plonker being the only one on doorstep, clapping.
Yes, I was perfectly able but I didn't do it.

Lots of self-appreciation tweets and posts on Facebook and Twitter atm. Apparently, if you didn't clap you shouldn't receive treatment if you fall ill.

All well and good, but premature - you'd think it was all over. We ain't seen nothing yet.
Whoever makes statements like that Roy, is a numpty and only deserves being ignored.
Well said Mammy. It wasn't much to ask for some very brave people.
It was a simple choice, join in or don't - but there's no need to argue about what individuals decided is there?
Yes, I joined in and the majority of people in my road did too. It was good..
My road joined in. It was very emotional. I live with a nurse as well and she stood on the doorstep clapping.
no sadly as i had fallen asleep long before...
Yes, I did. Not many in my road came out but did hear shouting and a few fireworks, too, in the town.
Absolutely, it was lovely to be a part of the gratitude we all feel, now how about a clapathon for shop workers?
I didn't go out because no-one else in my street did, but I sat on my sofa and clapped along to the ones on TV. A few fireworks went off here. Just wait till it's over, I bet fireworks will light up the sky.
Living in a small cul de sac, we thought we would be the only ones clapping, but no! Half the Close was out, cheering, clapping, even the odd firework going off! It was very uplifting. I feel this virus is bringing people together, like it used to be before social media isolated us.
I agree Carole, being with real genuine people who you can actually see is the best medicine ever x
