I have an Omron and its readings are alarmingly variable. From reading reviews however, it seems that other people have better results.

Incidentally our surgery has a machine for public DIY use, but I guess now is not a very good time to be using one.

The Boots one is actually made by Omron, gets good reviews, and is cheaper.

That was my fear, assuaged by a visit to the nurse at local surgery who declared it OK after several monitoring checks. Perhaps I'll invest in a new model as mine must be a rogue unit.
