I've seen photographs on Facebook of men who look to be of Asian origin pushing shopping trolleys piled high with toilet rolls. Some of the comments suggested they'd resell them at a profit.
Maybe so.
Listening to the radio news this evening I heard there are tickets for flights from Malaga to the UK available at a cost of £1000.

I walked past what I thought was a derelict shop which had shutters over the door and windows. But I noticed a 'minder' on the door who opened it to let some people in and some out. I couldn't help noticing the former shop was unfurnished apart from thousands of toilet rolls in packs piled on the floor.

Beats the massive trolleyloads of Easter eggs that usually leave the supermarkets en route to the corner shops when they're on 3 for 2. It's up to the supermarkets to stop them and then ban them.

Small/corner shop owners buying huge quantities of special offers from supermarkets, thus preventing the average customer from getting the deals, has been going on for years. The supermarkets should have been stricter before now but have been prepared to turn a blind eye, and perhaps the race of the purchasers has discouraged them.
But I have been guilty too- I used to buy packs of multipacks of Cola on special offer and sell the cans at 10-20p profit at my youth club (in aid of club funds)

Isn't this the sort of thing that "Lord" Sugar did when young...take all business opportunities that came his way?). Buying stuff cheap and marking up hundreds of percent...now look at him!
