Did my week's shopping this morning at my usual supermarket in Swindon.

I noticed that their toilet rolls and baked beans had been virtually cleared off the shelves.

Any connection, I wonder?

I'm more concerned about the fact that no one seems to be buying condoms. Consequently we can look forward to another generation of idiots.
Yes, and what else are you going to carry emergency supplies of water with or stop rain going down your gun-barrel?
that's why they are selling the paper towels, as to 'mop up' - are the cling-film shelves still intact? If the answer is no, then this virus is getting serious. Never mind, close contact is the best way to catch it....
I'm still laughing at the Heinz site one. Very clever.
Got back from holiday tonight and stopped off at Sainsburys on the way home. There was not one toilet roll on the shelves. No eggs either for some reason.
No paracetamol at Morrison's Scarborough (I need it for my back and Mr J2 can't take anything else, because of his heart medication). I got the last pack from the chemist's. I know India makes most of it and is hanging on to supplies, but people are behaving ridiculously. This week was kitchen roll and next week should be loo roll. Someone told me no pasta there today. Contamination by fear spread by the media. Older people are the ones wandering around asking for things, because we are used to being socially responsible. I admit to buying a pound of mince instead of 1/2 lb so that I would have the makings of a meal in the freezer.

Another thing I saw this morning as I entered my local supermarket, was a couple coming out pushing a trolley absolutely full of bottles of Evian water! No room for anything else, not even a toilet roll!

Can someone let me know if water is going to be rationed?

Anyhow, I do know that Evian when spelt backwards is NAIVE. Enough said!

Regarding my post at 1558 yesterday, Amazon has closed the account of that couple who were stockpiling Lysol products and selling them at exorbitant prices...Good for Amazon.
I saw a chap in Waitrose this morning with 3x36 loo-rolls in his trolley - I wanted to confront him but refrained.
