I sympathise with the rebels to an extent.
On the other hand, if the NCSC are broadly happy, can the MPs really say they know better?

The MPs may be looking at it politically, considering our relationship with our paranoid friends across the Pond. The vote should sort it out.

Trump practically admitted that the whole Huawei thing has nothing to do with security, and everything to do with his trade war with China. Considering that the US competitors for Huawei are technologically far behind, that would make sense.
