Anyone catch the first episode of this new series last night? I thought it a well scripted, well acted couple of hours. Certainly more light hearted than both Vera and Endeavour and a good way to spend a couple of hours on a Sunday evening. Jason Watkins was born to play the role of the methodical DS Dodds. I think any fans of Columbo will love this.

I enjoyed it , not so much high drama but a nice pleasant watch.

I stayed with it and will give the next one a go, but I wasn’t really enamoured with it. I’m afraid the female lead really irritated me, but then perhaps she was supposed to, I’m not sure.
