does it bother anyone that this has come into being. It has been implemented by the police and has caught it's first person, who is wanted for apparently assaulting an emergency worker.
see if i can find a link...

Didn't much care for CCTV as it spied on decent citizens. If they ever get facial recognition to work well it'll mean any dissent against the ruling classes will be risky. Authorities haven't indicated that they are always benign, and even those only as bad as our present lot can evolve to, or be replaced by, some lot more tyrannical. It's offering ourselves up...

I agree with Desk... nothing to hide etc... Although I do feel sorry for the poor sucker trying to figure out what image he/she may have captured when seeing me about.
So Emmie you think we are working towards a Police state? Good Grief most people are complaining about the lack of Police presence!

I'd rather have a Police State and feel that little bit safer while walking on my own. Nothing to hide = nothing to worry about.

we are the most watched nation according to the news
next to China, that is nothing to be proud of, at least i don't think it is...
So aunt polly grey,
If they filmed you buying knickers,
Large,medium,small,?
And what colour?
Do tell.
The thought of someone watching me do my shopping in our local city gives me little cause for concern. I am, however, comforted in the fact that should I fall or get attacked then it would more than likely be caught on camera and the emergency services alerted. There are more fors than againsts for the average law abiding citizen.

You more than most constantly bemoan the way London is going and how you and others fear to walk the streets due to the lawlessness. This tool is designed to take the bad guys off the streets and make you safer. If you have been arrested and have a mugshot in the police data base the system will identify any miscreant is wanted on warrants, skipped bail or generally at large after committing offences.
How many times have you heard of dangerous prisoners escaping from open prisons and advice not to approach them by the public.
The police, currently are overwhelmed by crime and need all the technical assistance they can get. All my details can be obtained by the click of a few keys when I am driving my car.

i don't moan about it, but it's been going downhill for a long while.
It doesn't worry me that 'big brother' knows my whereabouts. I don't commit criminal acts, so if anything it could help me establish an alibi if I'm ever accused of something I haven't done.
Big brother can read all my emails, view all my texts, have a nosey at my browsing history online, take as many photos of me as they want, film me doing anything they care to on CCTV, stop and search me every time I go out, if it makes the country a safer place.
I have nothing to hide.

It's offering ourselves up as pawns to the powerful. And it'll be too late once it starts to be used to control the hive.
Jordy sorry missed your post. The film of my sortie to TK Max, 'Aunt Polly Maxes out', is showing tonight on Netflix. Its a follow up of 'Aunt Polly does Debenhams ' Its riveting ;-)
