Hi,

Had a bad leak in a bathroom where the shower pump needs to be replaced, floorboards (& tiles) will probably need changing, bedroom carpet will need to be replaced, & kitchen ceiling needs looking at.
Which insurance covers this, my buildings insurance or the tenant's contents insurance ?

Both- each will cover different aspects- eg carpets is contents, ceiling is building

Thanks.
Seems the main expense will be sorting out the bathroom floor, would that be contents too ?
