I had to switch off for lack of a better term, the same ad five times in the seconds it should have taken to type a reply this morning. It pops up over the box you type in, can't be dragged out of the way and as soon as you close it it opens again. I am finding it so infuriating and unfortunately I can't find a way of blocking ads on my kindle.
I don't mind adverts, in fact my wardrobe includes proof that I do read some of them but this newish variant is a real pain in the bum

Yes, I had this problem yesterday when I was using AB on my phone. It was a No Win No Fee advert that completely covered the Answer Box and the Answer Now button so I had to type blind and then guess where the Answer Now button was
Boaty it’s happening on mine too and I’ve got Adblock, I signed out yesterday for this very reason, sick of these constant banner ads
If you provide the URL for offending adverts then we are able to remove them.
I'm having this problem too. It's so infuriating. Each time I come on its a different advert
The banner ads that stick to the bottom of the screen aren't popups - they are fairly new and we're open to hearing what people think about them. Can I ask, can you stop them from obscuring the answer box/answer now button by scrolling down the page a little?
Advertising has ruined the internet. Too much too often negates the intention and just irritates.
Those banners very definitely ARE pup-ups - when one is removed another appears very quickly and change quickly too!
Agree llanfair. Such a nuisance.
eh?I said I was being plagued too by them and my answer has been removed???????
