According to the BBC a few minutes ago, having been told to sack his advisers, he has refused and resigned.

Does anyone know who his advisors are?

Rishi Sunak; what is there not to like? Oxford & Stanford, his dad was an NHS doctor, mum ran her own chemist shop, praised by his constituents, married with two daughters, is a Hindu & loves cricket, -which means he may not pass the Tebbit test, but nobody's perfect.
//Any word yet on who the new chancellor is yet? I think Gove is a front runner. //

Another Asian fella. Boris is ticking all the boxes. Sacking all and sundry but maintaining a 50/50 gender balance. :-)
His father-in-law is the Indian billionaire co-founder of Infosys, N. R. Narayana Murthy.
"I [Sunak] co-founded a large investment firm, working with companies from Silicon Valley to Bangalore. Then I used that experience to help small and entrepreneurial British companies grow successfully. From working in my mum’s tiny chemist shop to my experience building large businesses, I have seen first-hand how politicians should support free enterprise and innovation to ensure our future prosperity."

Gets better & better!

Think you ought to get yourself down there, Asap.
Javid has shown himself to be a man of principle, standing by his team. One question, though. Wasn't the new man part of his team? There used to be a saying; Would you nick my grave as fast?
Every time I've seen Rishi Sunak interviewed he's always come across as a bit wet.
Let's face it, the new chancellor is Dominic Cummings, really.
Maybe it's his price for not kicking up over HS2
seven OP; //nothing elitist there, one of the people.//
Well he certainly began life as one; dad immigrant NHS doc. mum had a small shop.
You must be so sad that John(the quartermaster)MacDonnell isn't in number 11 & Jeremy his neighbour, what a boost that would have been for the country!
There will no doubt be more "Cummings and goings" in due course. About time they started ridding the place of the common purpose graduates. The treasury has been the fly in the ointment for every PM for decades and Javid has been on notice to clean up his stable of unruly asses and to get a proper team in. Not least the pro The EUSSR now have no inside info from our treasury office for the first time in decades. Strange how things turn out......we now have Indians who love Britain more than some of our own so called
Strange that....it was posted in answers as I was editing it. Where it says "Not least the pro" it was also saying "EUSSR fake projections from Hammond and Osborne."

It would also have ended with "our own so called patriots".

I didn't hit answer now Woof. I had just put a space in to allow me to insert further text and without touching any other keys it was posted. I also had to sign the pop up that plagues us all afterwards as well. Very strange I assure you.
In fact looking hard at it....I put in the space, typed "Not least the pro" and off it went unbidden.

Not at all sad. Unlike some, and you Khandro, I have no compulsion to adhere to ANY mandated dogma.

Many a Trot turned good neo-Con; maybe The Society of Jesus age 7 adage only works in 'religious' circumstances.

Still, you warrant a
