I have a HP F2480 printer which has stopped working. there was a click & then then paper swung to the left & got screwed up..has anyone any ideas as to what has happened? do I need a new one?

Do you know how to clear a paper jam and how to open up the machine? You may need to open the back panel and even clean the rollers.
