I think Linda's drinking started when Olly was diagnosed with Autism.

The new woman is pretending to have Cancer to win back her estranged daughter,

I think anyway.

I thought Linda started the excessive drinking because of the whole Keanau thing.

Probably because she read the story lines. So much gloom and depression on this show.BTW when someone hits the bottle in soapland how come they are able to polish off a bottle of spirits from the bottle without passing out or throwing up no matter what their age or "drinking experience"?

They do throw up. We've seen Linda throw up a few times.

Yes, she went on a bender when Ollie was diagnosed and then the Keanu thing happened and it's spiraled.
