Their main guest tonight is the legendary actor AL PACINO who’s almost 80, yet while he sits there like a lemon for more than five mins the co-hosts talk to pop singer Dua Lipa. What a waste of an opportunity, what an insult to Mr Pacino

To be fair, he didn’t seem to want to say much or even know where he was.
he did seem rather bemused, but they are on to promote their new TV offering which they did.
i agree they should have had him on by himself, such an interesting actor...
He was included in all the chats, he will no doubt be doing the rounds of the chat shows too, keep your eyes peeled.
I've always thought that The One Show was a waste of a good half-hour anyway....hence, don't watch it.
I'm sure 'his people' know what's what or he wouldn't be there.
He'll probably be being driven from one interview to another - darned easy to get confused.

He seemed genuinely moved by the tributes of the public.
Famous people, especially those of senior years, often have no idea where they are from day to day.

I interviewed Joey Kramer, drummer with Aerosmith, backstage at Donnington Festival, and on the coffee table of his luxurious trailer dressing room was a sheet of A4 paper, with the words writ large - 'YOU ARE IN CASTLE DONINGTON, ENGLAND' - just so there is no confusion.

TBA, musicians at this level on tour probably genuinely do lose track of which country they are in, with the plane / limo / hotel / limo / dressing room / stage / limo / hotel / airport / plane … roundabout that the live on for months on end.

At least it beats one once-famous singer reduced to a small club tour in the UK, playing my local venue. I interviewed him before the show, and he seemed a little … vague … but not as vague as when he sang his first song, and then advised the crowd that he was "Delighted to be playing in the birthplace of Freddie Mercury …"

Hint for the geographically-challenged artist - Mr Mercury was born in Stone Town, Zanzibar, Africa, and the artist's venue of choice that night was the Sugarmill in Hanley, Stoke-on-Trent.
Gingejbee I agree. I heard Matt Bakers tearful leaving speech about a month ago, shouted Hooray ..... so why the heck is he still there? He is so annoying ....
i think he officially leaves in April,
he might have been thinking of Anthea Turner, andy hughes, and who could blame him.
jno - // he might have been thinking of Anthea Turner, andy hughes, and who could blame him. //

He might indeed - although Anthea is a friend, and last time I saw her, she didn't bear a particularly striking resemblance to the late great Mr Mercury!
