Just read how your OH may have to go onto insulin and you mentioned the little gadget placed on the arm instead of finger pricking.

My two nephews have them and one of the wives out of earshot of one of the nephews said that nephew took a hypo before Xmas and the little thing just tells them if the sugar is low or high. She gave him more sugar and more sugar but couldn't get it corrected so he had to finger pricking which gave him a better reading. You can look into that a little better. I think it is called "libre".

Yes that’s the one JJ, it’s called a Libra, hopefully he hasn’t the need to use one but it’s good to know , I hope your nephew was okay ,

he was bad enough I believe Bobbs - he gives himself insulin 3 times a day from he was 13. He is now over 40.
OHs is hereditary, his Dad was type 1 , he’s one of seven siblings and the only one with Diabetes

oh - I'm still borderline so they are keeping an eye on me every 6 months.
