I'm referring of course to the Union Flag at the top of the website. I have no problem with appropriate use of our flag but, today of all days, there should be the EU Flag as well. Please can Ed do something about it?

"Face the flag son.... and thank God it's still there."
Perhaps we could have one that bursts into flames at 11pm.
Lol spice :-). Diddly, I don't think it is political or divisive... it's a fact. It may have been inappropriate on referendum day, as looking biased, but perfect for today.

TTT - how can you be such a hypocrite? You seem to hate everything to do with Europe and yet you admit to drinking French Champagne. Surely you should be drinking some over-priced nasty English fizz?
what ever makes you think I hate Europe? I hate the EUSSR I love the individual countries of Europe, I have been on motorcycle tours, rugby tours, I was semi fluent in french for a while, till I forgot it!. I've worked in Luxembourg, Paris, Rotterdam, I love Europe, I love French wine and cheese, I have a German car. I've been on holiday to most of the countries of Europe. You really must learn that hating the EUSSR does not mean one hates Europe.
Although for many people it does.
You may love Europe TTT but you don’t understand it if you don’t get why there’s an EU for all it’s issues.
As far as the question goes, I don’t have a problem with the flag there. I hadn’t noticed it until I saw this
Europe does not need the federalist EUSSR it needs trading agreements and general cooperation, we could call it a "common Market"....hang on!

TTT - if what you say is true, I fail to see your problem with the EU.
Diddly, you can like and respect anything without wanting to be ruled by it.
If you had watched Ed Balls Travels through Europe last night on BBC 2 you will see that the working men/women in Poland and Germany are not enamoured with the EU at all. Exactly for the same reasons Brexiteers voted as they did.
Strange argument, diddly. I love Europe. I love the culture, the history, the scenery, the food. I just don't want to be ruled by it.
My French neighbours dislike the EU, there are posters in the village advocating 'Frexit'...
Dad a always told

d me one of his proudest moments was when Changi prison was liberated, he had to be carried to see the Union Flag raised again.
Patriotism should be valued.
I want Sweden or Spain to leave, so aog will post about "Sexit". Would be amusing in latest posts :-)
diddly: "TTT - if what you say is true, I fail to see your problem with the EU. " - can you not see the yawning chasm of difference between the federal EUSSR and the geographical region that is Europe?
// so aog will post about "Sexit". //

unlikely. the example countries would be "swexit" or "spexit", surely? it wasn't Bexit was it?
Hmph:-)
I too am an ardent leaver, I have my Sir Nige T shirt on and a bottle of English (Couldnt find 'British) Bubbly on ice.

However, like TTT and others I have no beef with Europe. I too have worked there, even spent 5 years on and off in Bruxelles, I holiday every year there and alos own a Germaan car. Come tommorrow I will eat French cheese, drink French,Spanish and Italian wine and continue to hliday there.

It seems diddly you are highlighting one of the big problems of all this where those who remain seem to be assuming things of leavers that simply are not true. We do not like the EU, we think it is bad not only for Britain but alos for many European countries.

Ah, and we are not thick neither are we uneducated. In many cases far from it.
