Am i wasting my time?
Booked 2 tickets several weeks ago. But my wife cant travel now. Due to personal reasons.
Its looking like a phone call because ive had no luck trying to do it on the internet.

next Would you forgo air travel for the sake of the climate and instead find alternative transport or not travel at all?

You can't get a refund on 'Advance' tickets. You can get a refund on other types of ticket but subject to a deduction of £10 per person per ticket:

Don't give up. 3 years ago my Aunt had a fall and could not travel.She had advanced tickets.After emails and discussions by telephone I complained and eventually spoke to someone who was compassionate and I received a full refund.It took a while but if you are polite and patient you probably would get a refund or tickets for another journey.Good Luck !
