Gary Lineker et al may also like to take note. A load of comments underneath appear to agree with Mr Morgan

I believe 'Stars' and/or their minders decide the questions before they give interviews.

I suppose you didn’t bother to read the link @ 1734 I supplied re Hamlet, Cumberbatch and the Barbican theatre? No I thought not. No confusion on my part.

Not for the first time, your supposer is malfunctioning.

I did read the link, and it clearly states that Mr Cumberbatch made is speech after the performance had finished, and anyone who didn't wish to hear it could have left without feeling shortchanged, since the performance for which they paid had been delivered.

Your point appears to imagine what you would do if Mr Cumberbatch broke off mid-soliloquy and started spouting his views, and you would rightly be upset.

The simple fact is, he didn't, so you made up a fantasy scenario in order to be upset about it, and that is the point I made.
> Hugh Grant is so disgusting.
> How dare he say Britain is 'finished'?

> credibility as any kind of political expert.

Piers Morgan. Yawn. Hugh Grant. Yawn.

Anyway, just for reference, this from 2018 might have something to with Piers Morgan's attitude towards Hugh Grant ...

Hugh Grant wins Trinity Mirror hacking case and names Piers Morgan as guilty editor ...
Hacked Off, the campaign for press reform, said Mirror Group had “actively concealed for ten years” its hacking of Grant and accused the publisher of failing to properly investigate the allegations.

I am unsure if your reference to 'flak' refers to my post, but I assure you it is not 'flak', I am simply pointing out that the reality of Mr Cumberbatch's escapade and Retrocop's imaginary scenario are not the same in any way.
Luvvies, metropolitan elite, beep beep see, EUSSR, remoaners, agent Cob, just some of the standard inserts that immediately devalue posts.
I think the first two words of the OP devalued it!
It is worth noting that Hugh Grant is a leading member of ‘Hacked Off’ the group set up by people who had their phones hacked by tabloid newspaper.

Grant himself had his phone hacked and private details were printed in the News of the World, and the Daily Mirror, which at the time were edited by - Piers Morgan.
The relationship between Mr Grant and Mr Morgan, is that of a man and his dog, and in this case, each thinks the other is the dog.

Best ignored.
