please explain why harry is stripped of his "royal" title because he can't use it for commercial purposes yet duchy of cornwall ploughs on earning
£ 21 million profit & is used for tax free lifestyle by Charles
" blurring " ( or should that be evading ? ) private & commercial very successfully . why is this title allowed for commercial gain ?

Because we live in an unfair priveleged society. We are definitely not all in this together.

Because we live in an unfair priveleged society.
We are definitely not all in this together.
Harry hasn't been stripped of his royal title.
Charles is not tax free. Duchy products come from the farms he is has whilst he is Prince of Wales. He doesn’t tout himself about for voiceovers and charge for interviews. Plus he does lots of ‘royal duties’. I agree about Andrew, though he does ‘royal duties’ too.
Andrew doesn't do Royal duties anymore!

what I meant was that harry is not allowed to use his royal title for commercial purposes whereas Charles is.
what is the difference ? also Charles pays tax on some of the duchy revenue/profits but a significant amount is private expenses put through to avoid tax .
having been a royalist , I am now slowly thinking that a dysfunctional family in charge purely by birth is probably not a good example . saying that , i'm equally not sure that a blair type republic with an egotist in charge is the answer !
Weinstein then airmiles I hope .
the monarch is not in charge.
Any business tries to pay as little tax legally as possible, why would Charles be any different?
"what I meant was that harry is not allowed to use his royal title for commercial purposes whereas Charles is. " - Charles hasn't spat the dummy out and absquatulated across the pond, he's still doing royal duty. Harry and Megan didn't want to work for the firm anymore.

tora tora : Charles is paid for his royal duties . nothing to do with commercial gain from duchy .
seem to remember that he upset the " firm " causing a crisis by committing adultery then wanting to live with a divorcee . sounds familiar ?
albaquerty : because he should set an example !
yup Charles is an adulterer and planned to be before he was married, maybe even before he and Diana were a couple. I understand why....could even envisage a situation where "advisers" NOT his parents, told him he could have his cake and eat it, expecting Diana to be compliant.....but he is still an adulterer.
As my accountant says " there is a difference between tax avoidance and evasion" One is legal and the other not.
Isn't the Duchy of Cornwall brand now owned by Waitrose? I seem to recall reading something like that a while back.
Harry can't use HRH, or so i thought.
