I only have Freeview, F1 on Sky, Moto GP on BT, is there any way of just purchasing these rather than whole Sky and BT packages, thinking Now tv or Amazon, I have BT internet, could that be an option, watch online? Any ideas, thanks.

If you don't mind watching MotoGP in German, then its free - get yourself a VPN.

Alternatively if you can find a VPN for Australia then you get the British commentators.
I make do with watching highlights of F1 on channel 4. Some other motor sport on Saturday mornings. Not sure which package SIL uses to watch F1 live, I will check with him when I see him at weekend and get back to you.
NOW TV charges £9.99 for a one-day Sports Pass, £14.99 for a one-week one and £33.99 for a one-month pass:

That gives you unlimited access to all Sky Sports channels for the relevant period. (There's no option just to take the F1 channel).

As Tuvok indicates, you can watch motor sport (including F1) for free on Germany's RTL channel online if you use a VPN. (PureVPN has a good reputation and actually promotes its services to access F1 on RTL: https://www.purevpn.com/ ). If you're German isn't up to it, you can mute the sound and listen to the commentary on BBC Radio 5 Live.
