I would like another computer to play with in addition to my laptop and tablet.

I would be grateful if someone would tell me if this is a good computer for the price or is it overpriced like most of their other items?

I wouldn't buy that. Not enough memory (4GB) and they don't even tell you how big the hard drive is.

thanks - I am easily tempted by what seems like bargains. I don't actually need it, just wanted a new toy.
I would give it a miss. If you say what you want computer for someone here will be able to help with a recommendation.
I'm very happy if I've just saved you wasting £250!

Ellipsis ... it just gives me more money to squander elsewhere. ☺

You can get by with 4GB of memory. (My three machines all have only 2GB). However I'd look for a minimum of 8GB if I was buying a new computer today.

The reason they don't tell you the size of the hard drive is that it doesn't have one. Instead they tell you that it's got 32GB of ROM (which is presumably eMMC memory, as used in cheaper laptops). It's possible to get by with that too but Windows 10 would take up much of the space, leaving you very little to play with.

You can squander it on me if you like, Susan ;-)
Definitely give it a miss for the reasons given.
21.5 inches is huge for a monitor. I’d say this machine is intended largely for display purposes when hooked to external devices. Hence no HD, poorish memory by modern standards and the emphasis on its “slots”.
So if you wanted it for that then it might be the thing
I'd give it a 'miss' as well. Slow processor (dates from about early 2016) which is also responsible in producing graphics. Only 3 usb ports of which only one is usb3. Always going to struggle to cope with anything more involved than emails and browsing the internet. Old style all-in-one system that never became popular with users.

Thank you all.

Chris - I am poor and have no job if I am going to squander money on anyone it will be me. (or young Frankie).

I hope that you are peeing better.
There's a reason it's only £249.99 - it's rubbish! The spec is so low that, although you'll probably get it up and running, as soon as you actually try to use it for anything, it'll feel like you're wading through treacle. Windows, especially Windows 10, loves resources - the more it can use, the better it will run.

Now, if you fancied scrubbing it and installing, say, Ubuntu and OpenOffice, it would probably be fine. You say you're looking for a machine to play with - why not have a play with Linux?
No, you shouldn't go for this one instead you can buy another computer/laptop in this budget or may be lesser.
