Muscle and weight gain

I have been working out for the last year now and come on in leaps and bounds regarding weight and muscle gain. I am presently using a supplement called Maximuscle Cyclone which i take twice a day. The shake lasts for ten days and even at a discounted price of just over 30 it is a bit expensive to maintain.

I have looked at other whey products but am unsure which would be the nearest porduct to the existing one I am using.
Any brands or names you leave me would be much appreciated.

Waynepompey, did you watch the programme on Monday about the man whose arms exploded? Be very careful what you're getting into.
I know this isn't what your asking, but personally I don't think you need to take supplements to build muscle. You can do it the natural way, and concentrate on healthy/appropriate eating/ lifestyle.

Yes I saw the programme, and this was about steroid users and abuse.

I am a regular healthy eater who watches what he eats, and take the supplement for extra intake.
Dont eggwhites give you the same amount of protein?
Hi wayne.!

I think there is a slightly cheaper alternative sold in health food stores, like Holland & Barrett.

Have you tried ordering it in bulk from Maximuscle's online store?

I think my boyfriend (he's a fitness instructor) used to use Maximuscle but now buys Reflex- Instant Whey.

Hopefully this website might be useful...

Hi again, wayne!

I've just spoken to my boyfriend and he's given me the name of the website from where he orders it all now.
http://www.sncdirect.com/

Apparently they have some really good offers on. I'll also give you the link for the whey he is actually taking himself at the moment...

Many thanks for your answers, and links.

I shall probably fgo for what your boyfriend uses if this is what he uses instead of maximuscle.

I have tried the link and it looks like good stuff, and if you give your boyfriend this link he will find it is cheaper that the site he uses and the deliveriy is free.

You're welcome, wayne! :o)

Aww, thanks for that link, I'll pass it on. Take care x
I work out daily, unless it's raining, when I work inside. I hate the way Americanisms spread! Anyway, rather than chucking stuff down your neck, why don't you just do it natures way, and jog, cycle, or better still grab a bag of sand and walk up and down stairs a few dozen times a day? That's worked for me for years
Regards Andy
