6th January.
Twelfth Night, always.
Thanks, I'll take them down next weekend then. Not that I have many, just a small real tree that will go back outside, a few cards and a bunch of Christmas flowers.

I hate it when you go for a walk in early January and you see all of the outside decorations in peoples' gardens being blown around in the blustery weather. Seems a bit depressing somehow.
I'll take mine down on the 5th, probably - except for the greenery (ivy twined round bannisters, holly tucked behind pictures and foliage arrangements) which I'll discard as it withers.

I'll probably do a flower arrangement, to herald the nearing of Spring and keep the place brighter, on 6th Jan..
I think I will take them down on the 1st. I also get fed up of them, although this year we have not put up much. I like that idea of getting a bunch of flowers, I think I'll do that too.
And I am going to chuck out the washed out 20 year old Christmas table cloths etc.
