Can cats eat cooked chicken bones?

No, cooked chicken bones can splinter and choke the cat.

Having said that though, my cats have often scavenged the remains of chicken legs (etc) from my kitchen bin and they've never come to any harm.
No - only raw bones (with caution and supervised) and not the little ones. Cooked bones for dogs or cats are not digestible. However, to be honest I wouldn't chance any bones with my cats.
Around 60 years ago I had a dog which in its 6 or so years was regularly fed cooked bones. Its droppings did not contain any fragments (they crumbled away disintegrating into soil additive and disappearing to the naked eye). Given current warnings, modern dogs must have evolved some sort of disadvantage earlier dogs did not have. Darwin wins again aver creationists.
