Daft question, as most of mine are: are cats’ treat sticks meant to be given to the cat whole or broken into bits?

I've usually broken them into bits in the past (although I doubt that it actually matters anyway) but I rarely buy them now as my lot much prefer Dreamies.
I buy both, but one of our four cats loves the sticks whole. I have to take her some when I go to bed.
She sits on the bed waiting for the treat, and a belly tickle :-)
I got such a dirty look from our puss when I broke his up.
Mind you, the pooch was chomping happily into her chewy-bone so that might not have helped the cat with his superiority complex.

Thanks everyone
. I’ve been breaking them up and giving her one bit at a time. I’ll see if she wants to tackle a whole one next time.
We tear the top of the packet, pull the stick out a little and he pulls it out for himself, so, whole!

I’ll see if mine will do that, jakep.
Break it up and divide equally between the two little horrors.
