I mean how much poo is being consumed? I must have had 6 bottles at the club last night! ASDA ran out last night, had to go to the more expensive Sainsbury's!

I know it isn't the real thing by a country mile but we have a Champagne type fizz in the UK. Less palatable but more patriotic.
God forgive me. I have recently changed my tincture from Doombar to Abbott Ale. :-(

retro, Champagne is a British invention anyway. Dom P "discovered" fizzy wine by accident and tried to suppress it. It was a British officer that created the bottle to hold it without exploding and thus the demand for what at the time in France was "unthinkable" fizzy wine. It's all in this book:

TBF though I love Europe, I've done Bike tours, sking, Rugby, judo, all sorts all over. It's the insidious EUSSR I hate, the sooner the other EUSSR nations break their chains and the whole sorry mess disintegrates the better. As usual Britain shows the way.
