I'm sure they will. If I read the report correctly there's no suggestion of attempting to raise the wreck but they are applying for special protection status for the area.

I must admit I didn't realize that there were naval engagements that far south in WW1. A lot of damaging interference to some wrecks is caused by recreational SCUBA divers, and as this ship is almost a mile down there won't be too divers going to it.
