This time last year we had no babies or children in the family.
This Christmas we have THREE babies, all of whom will be staying with us, with their parents and a rogue grannie in law, over the Christmas period.
I can’t tell you how much we’ve enjoyed shopping for these little ones, it’s put a whole new perspective on Christmas for us and brightened our lives considerably.
We’ve bought a new bed, a new freezer, and a new tv(for us, not the visitors) and consider it money well spent so everyone is comfortable and well fed.
Any babies in your family, what will Father Christmas be bringing them??

Sadly no babies with us. We were hoping to see my new great-niece, but there’s been an upset in the family and we’re not allowed to see her.
Christmas is lovely with littlies around. Enjoy your three!
When ours were little I only brought them things that were practicable. I'd spoil them once they knew who Santa was.
I agree that Christmas with little ones is fun, no babies in the close family at the moment.

Oh Clover, that’s such a shame, families can be a blooming nightmare at times. Two of our babies are a great niece and great nephew, they’ve brought our family together actually, after a very difficult few years.
We’ve bought premium bonds for them all, and a few toys and books. If any of the bonds win I shall be delighted as they all need a helping hand.
My "baby" is 11 years old and into technology! Much easier when he was a baby.
maggiebee, Is he into "technology" or into "social media" ?

If into technology buy him a Raspberry PI, He'll work out what to do with it.

If into social media... He doesn't understand technology at all.
Those are great ideas, vagus. For as long as I can remember, we have been lucky to have at least one baby in the family.
Vouchers for photos are also good... xx
I have got one littlie to buy for who was born on christmas day. I gave her a child sized silver charm bracelet and a charm for her christening and she gets a silver charm each year for her birthday gift plus books or a toy for christmas. This year I have made her up a bakers basket with an apron, some baking utencils and cutters and two christmas cookie making kits. I love choosing the charms. last year was a ballet dancer on a little stage who twirls when you turn a tiny handle, this years is a hutch that opens to show the rabbit inside with a carrot.
Woof ,I also got a charm bracket and charms for my granddaughter- also born on Christmas day... she loves it.
pixie she has a baby brother due in the spring all being well....I am trying to think of a similar gift for him but not coming up with much
A little more difficult, yes. I will have a think. With my sons, it was easier once they were around a year old, as both of them were quite obsessed with train tracks, and were very happy with a piece of brio tracks. But I will have a further think about it xx
"Bracket"- bracelet, sorry. I am off work tonight and have had nearly a pint of Budweiser.. as you can probably tell... :-)
