My rosebowl is looking a bit dull, I've soaked it in warm washing up liquid which hasn't really helped. Dare I put a few drops of Milton in water and soak for a while? Thankyou for any ideas.

Soak in a solution of one part white vinegar to three parts warm water. Leave over night and wash as usual.
