So, in the film yesterday, the Beatles never existed. But Jack meets John Lennon at the end. So he and the others did exist but never met to form the group to write the songs. Am I right. Thanks.

Is this a TV series? I like anything about The Beatles (especially their early years)
no it was a film released earlier this year i think. I haven't see it to be honest.
as far as i know you are right..
I thought it might be a good film, that. But it seems to have dropped off the radar after all the pre-release publicity. Doesn't necessarily mean I wouldn't enjoy it.
i think you would spicy, the trailer looks interesting and off course Jack gets to play some of the most wonderful songs.
It's very enjoyable, if a little whimsical. I won't spoil too much, but an accident sends a young musician into a new reality where several pop culture things are missing, notably The Beatles. It was out over the summer. Might be out on DVD for Christmas.
Its a very good film and has just been released on DVD.
I thoroughly enjoyed it but it's a typical Richard Curtis film so don't go to see it if you didn't enjoy any of his previous films. Coming from near the Suffolk/Norfolk border I was I interested in the filming locations. My sister and brother in law were in the crowd scenes though I couldn't spot them.
Cost $26M to produce and grossed $151M worldwide. Not too shabby a return. Just had a look on 'Wicki' and it reads like it may be a half decent film. A bit 'Forest Gump meets Goodnight Sweetheart'.
Saw this film at the cinema and really enjoyed it. The music was wonderful of course and Ed Sheeran just added that wee bit extra to it. Worth a watch.
For those who want to buy it.

Saw it a few weeks ago on our Odeon 'Silver Screen' - £7.50 for two including tea, coffee and biscuits. Liked the film, particularly the Harry Potter reference at the end.
